Djun Djuns, like Congas, are typically a family of three drums. The smallest is
a "Kenkeni", the middle a "Songba" and the largest being the
Djun or Djun Djun. I have seen these drums all spelt a number of different ways,
these are simply the spellings I have settled on. These drums are played with
sticks or, less commonly, one stick and hand.

Djun-Djun
Bells
Typically,
the 3 drums will be played by three different drummers and each drum will have
a bell tied to the side. Djuns can be played standing on end or on thier sides
on a stand. It is also common to see one drummer playing all three if musicians
are in short supply.
